Dunn's Duffers Registration Volunteers

Volunteering at the Center

Children’s Center has a continuing need for volunteers to assist various departments with projects, ranging from ongoing service to being available on an “as-needed” basis. Whatever your schedule may be, we can work with you to find a good fit in a role that is fun and rewarding. This type of service is invaluable to staff and Children’s Center is deeply appreciative of our volunteers.

Event Support

Children’s Center hosts and participates in several signature events every year. By joining a committee, you can support our mission to protect kids and prevent child abuse in Clackamas County by taking a lead role to assist in the coordinating and planning of an event, or sign-up for a volunteer position on the day of an event. At each event, you’ll receive on-the-job training while working with Children’s Center staff and community partners at these locations.

Stewards of Children® Initiative

Children’s Center is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming a Stewards of Children® Facilitator. An authorized facilitator is an individual who has been trained by Darkness to Light to deliver the Stewards of Children® training program to adults in their organization or community. Facilitators are advocates for keeping children safe from sexual abuse and are key to spreading the prevention message throughout Clackamas County. Facilitators are required to lead at least three trainings. If you are interested in becoming a Stewards of Children® Facilitator, please contact prevention@childrenscenter.cc.
