It Takes a Village: Center Staff Stepping up for Gala Auction
This year’s Healing Garden Gala is going virtual!
That means that in addition to the 1 hour virtual event going LIVE on Friday, September 25th, we will also be hosting an incredible online auction from September 18th to September 25th as well.
Board, staff, and volunteers are working hard to bring you fabulous items. Because we aren’t going to let COVID-19 stop us from bringing you an amazing auction – even if we are going to be bidding online!
Here’s a sneak peek of some of the incredible auction items we have this year:
We have some fantastic regional trips available, with relaxing destinations like the Oregon Coast, beautiful areas of Washington State, and adventures in Central Oregon. Special thanks to the Children’s Center board members who have generously donated many of these trips. Here’s just one example: a weekend in gorgeous Rockaway Beach at The Whistle Stop!
Children’s Center staff and families have gone all out to create fun and unique gifts for you to enjoy. Some examples of things our talented team is donating include a guided mushroom foraging trip, beautiful artificial flower arrangements you can enjoy all year, stunning wall art of scenic photography printed on metal, a homemade corn hole set for an afternoon of fun, and these homemade greeting cards! Take a look at some of the cards staff have made so far.
Love the outdoors and sports? Good news – we’ll have golf packages, yoga lessons, garden packages, and more.
There will be kid’s baskets, holiday themed baskets, Kate Spade purses, studio photography… and so much more!

How to get involved in this year’s virtual gala:
- Get your free Virtual Event Ticket to the live online event happening Friday, September 25th at 7pm
- Donate an item or gift certificate to our online auction
- Register to bid on auction packages – registration coming soon. (Note: The online auction will open at 8am on Friday, September 18th, and will close at 9pm on Friday, September 25th, one hour after our virtual event ends!)
- Become an event sponsor
- Make a general donation to support the ongoing work of Children’s Center
